initial rough thumbnails. Earlier I wanted to keep the name Uemura because it sounded heavier but since it's a second name i decided to stick to first name Shoen.

SHOEN – She is a villain, initially brought in by Shredder to fight the TMNTs, but eventually joins forces with the boys. She evolved from an alligator snapper. Unlike the TMNTs, she is a Spartan. Her name is Shoen, taken from a Japanese painter from the 1800s. This is meant to contrast with the TMNTs, who are ninjas named after European Renaissance artists, while she is a Spartan named after a Japanese painter, Shoen Uemura.
